4K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Dairy Production Operator/Pasteurizer We are looking for a Dairy Production Operator/Pasteurizer who is highly motivated to work in a fast-growing, state-of-the-art dairy/beverage manufacturing facility.
This company offers a 4-day work week with Fridays off! The Dairy Production Operator/Pasteurizer will be responsible for ensuring that all known pathogens are pasteurized, and the product is homogenized.
The position is responsible for the quality, food safety, and productspecifications.
The Dairy Production Operator/Pasteurizer will report directly to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
Run and maintain related equipment within a dairy production environment.
Closely monitor the dairy production process and follow Standard Operating Procedures for batching and processing products.
Monitor fats, total solids, allergens, cryoscope and other related items as they associate with processing dairy products.
Verify all charts; including frequency pen, cut-in/out temperatures, and product recording temperatures.
Accurately prepare and maintain area paperwork and ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
Maintain sanitation of equipment including CIP and hand cleaning.
Operate equipment at recommended speeds and communicate mechanical and operational issues as they arise.
Operate and clean equipment with a sense of urgency to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
Maintains communication with other departments, management, and employees and notifies them of any problems and/or concerns that may alter the efficiency of production.
Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshooting.
Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs, and food quality related to designated areas.
Report any food safety and food quality-related issues to management immediately.
Required Skills/
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required 2
years of equivalent experience, specifically food industry and manufacturing facility Must have well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle and follow through on multiple projects.
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others.
Ability to meet deadlines and work with limited supervision.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and climb for extended hours Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to work all assigned work schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, and comply with all time and attendance policies.
